UNCLAIMED PROPERTY SEARCH

California’s Unclaimed Property Law demands corporations, companies, associations, financial institutions, and insurance companies (known as Holders ) to annually report and deliver property to the California State Controller’s Office after there’s not been any action on the account or touch with the owner for a period of time specified in law — generally (3) three years or longer.

The search page will let you find Unclaimed Property that currently has been sent to the State for safekeeping, as well as property that’s about to be sent to the State by a company as required by legislation.

Should you think you might have other reports that didn’t look in your search, please visit the site at a subsequent date as titles are added to the Unclaimed Property Record. You could even try your search again with a different standards.
